Valle do Nideo After seventy years of dedicated winegrowing, for the Port Wine producers, the family bottles their first DOC DOURO label bottled. VALLE DO NÍDEO – Douro Superior - 2001 Red, was launched in 2003, after the initiative of MIGUEL ABRANTES, founder’s grandson and winemaker graduated at UTAD. Always, he felt a great connection not only with winemaking as profession and art, but also in following a Family dream of bottling a Douro superior wine, which embraces a richness of the palate and leaves a lasting memory. VALLE DO NÍDEO - Douro DOC , is the result of three generations of investment in Douro wines region, since 1893, they have acquired several properties. Nowadays, they represent almost 200 hectares of integrated winegrowing. Quinta do Daniel, located in the village of Pocinho, Vila Nova de Foz Côa, Douro Superior Sub Region, is the headquarters of Valle do nideo and the wonderful property that embraces Pocinho and welcomes from its vineyards all boats who stop at the marina or who travel the Douro river crossing the Pocinho Dam, that was built in there. Galharda red and white, wines open the range, Valle do Nideo gives you all the palates emotions that represent powerfull whites and deligtfull reds, ending with Quinta do Daniel, the work of art of Douro Superior. |
