The SOUL WINES Douro Portugal group, dedicates the first quarter of the year 2020 to Germany. The first action was the business mission to the city of Munich, 1 month before heading to Prowein in Dusseldorf.
This business mission was attended by 16 DOC Douro and Port wine producers, and the objective was to promote their wines to potential buyers in the Bavarian region. The mission included the realization of 1 masterclass, which ended up being complemented by 2 mini - masterclasses held during the networking and wine tasting session, due to the high number of interested in the masterclass. To this end, Axel Probst, a natural connoisseur of the Douro and its wines, joined this mission and was responsible for carrying out the 3 knowledge sharing sessions about Douro wines and Port wines.
It was an afternoon full of contacts, with the presence of more than 100 professionals and 65 consumers and winelovers.
The day after the tasting and masterclass, a lunch of presentation and tasting SOUL WINES wines was held to a group of influencers that included journalists, bloggers, wine consultants, distributors and wine importers. The objective was to taste wines in a more informal and intimate environment, and to promote interaction with producers in order to transmit more information about the wines and thus create references and future memories of them, for the dissemination of brands by these local agents.
